Schools were closed, service organizations were closed. Yours truly was on the road doing housecalls. All wheel drive and Finnish studded tires, but still slipped just a little. Sunday, my lady friend and I had planned to go down to stay at a quaint inn in Freeport, Maine – home of L.L. Bean and many outlet stores. But our travel-down day has an ice storm forecasted. Change horse sitter dates, change hotel reservations, change dog boarding dates, and it all worked out. Harraseeket Inn, were still coming down from Caribou!
