I chose my career at the age of four, graduated from Medical School at age 26 in my native Sweden at Uppsala University. First Board Certified in Family Medicine in the U.S. in 1984, I recertified in 2018.

Practicing small town medicine for over thirty years and seeing three or four generations of many families has given me a perspective fewer and fewer physicians have today. 

Progress Notes” refers to the daily or occasional entries a physician makes in a patient’s medical record on the progress of a case. In this case, the progress may be mine or the patient’s.

My first Arabian horse, a magical Pegasus who changed my life and taught me to get out of my head and into my heart. After being in her presence for seven years, I just couldn’t imagine life without Arabian horses.


My new girls, her first cousin once removed and her younger half sister. Adopted via the Arabian Rescue Mission.
